lyrics

Close your eyes it's time to warp to the next stop

In the darkness
I watch as the stars
Fly by like the years
A lonely astronaut
Searching for the light
That will not disappear
In the heavens I will question life
Can this vapor be intelligent design?
And just when it seems all has been for naught
I have a thought

Maybe all of this was made to explore
Maybe here within the infinite
This is not the end
For eternity was placed in our hearts
So that we will never be content
With just getting a glimpse
We want more!

Have I left my home
Or is that the one place, I have left to go
Because knowing truth is one thing
And believing it is another
(Another)

Learning the meaning of beauty
(Darkness brings light)
Every end is a beginning
(Death can bring life)
I have never felt so scared
Or so at peace
What if all man ever wanted
(The heart of all men pine)
Isn't on some distant planet
(for newness of life)
But is found in a world that's been redeemed

Maybe we were never made for this world
Maybe all this is a shadow of what is yet to come
And the day we finally see what's in store
Maybe we will come to realize that there is a reason
We want more
